Working here is more than a job. Everyone in the Action for Children family is passionate about protecting and supporting children. It's the sense of purpose that drives us every single day. Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives. At Action for Children, we believe that every child should have a safe and happy childhood. Last year, we helped more than 670,000 children and families across the UK.

We are leading the delivery and coordination of a new England-wide programme called Planning Together for Children to help parents prioritise their children's needs if they are separating. This has been commissioned by Cafcass (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service) on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

Planning Together for Children will see us work with other partners to deliver the new course and set of resources for parents combining e-learning, online group work, and online support for couples involved in private law family court proceedings.

It builds on the work of our existing Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP). Around 24,000 parents are referred to a SPIP course every year and the feedback from both parents and children has been used to develop the new programme.
