Accountant

Accounting On You are an accountancy firm specialising in online businesses and due to the rapid growth of the business we are seeking several "not so average" Accountants on a remote basis! We need people who will be able to manage and be willing to speak with their allocated clients on a monthly basis.

Preferably, the successful candidates will have experience working with online businesses particularly online fitness coaches however our clientele does not start and end with that niche.

The successful candidate will also:

• Have their own computer or laptop with a strong internet connection, as the role is part work from home position.
• Be able to adhere to the GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
• Be competent.
• Have experience used accounting cloud systems such as QuickBooks
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to build rapport with clients
• Have access to WhatsApp

The role will be varied and include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders and limited companies and personal tax returns for directors
• Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting queries
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Speaking with clients on a monthly basis
• Advising clients on salary and dividends
• Liaising with clients in a timely manner
• Work efficiently with other members of the team
• Assisting with other business activities
