Ability Care & Support is looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to work in the Slough Services to contribute to the efficient and effective management of this services. The successful candidate will be supported by the Team Manager to lead and coordinate a team of Support Workers to provide high quality care and support to our customers.
Slough services provide support to customers with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The service is committed to a person-centred approach with a focus towards promoting and increasing independence for our customers.

Vacancies details
The position will be on a full-time basis. A level of previous management experience is required but not essential. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will undertake management duties, be part of a rota covering days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. They will also ensure that the quality of support provided to customers reflects their identified outcomes. Key behaviours expected will include empathy, good communication skills and the ability to lead a team along with a positive “can do” attitude and commitment to the highest standards of customer service.
This role will be based in one of our Services in Slough.
Salary: £25,527.74 – £12.58 p/h
Hours: 40 Hours a week (Rota)
