Student Advisor

The University now seeks to appoint a Student Advisor to:

· Provide high quality professional, non-judgemental and impartial, advice and guidance that is up-to-date and unbiased on a broad range of issues that is empathetic, effective, and engaging relating to a range of student experience issues.

· Areas include, academic progression, student welfare, international student support, student funding, and disability (including specific learning difficulties).

· Work proactively with students, support and academic staff to increase student retention and success.

· Promote student engagement in wellbeing activities through the provision of online resources and a planned programme of workshops, initiatives and activities.
