E-Commerce Marketplace Administrator

The E-Commerce Marketplace Administrator will support the E-Commerce Team with New Product Introduction to Michael Abakhan’s core Marketplaces, with the aim of further improving Abakhan’s Online Revenue position. Alongside this core task, the successful candidate will also support the wider Product team with the launch of New Products, Merchandising, Content creation and other administrative tasks as required by the Head of E-Commerce and Purchasing Director.

A candidate who is well organized, initiative driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team is a must here. You will also be computer literate, possess a strong level of written and communicative English, together with previous experience in an online retailer (desirable, though not essential).

Job Description:

The E-Commerce Marketplace Administrator’s main responsibilities will include:

§ Work with the Head of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Administrator to add NEW Products to our core Amazon Marketplaces, both domestically and overseas.

§ Support the creation of SEO Content on products & collection pages, to further enhance our Organic Search revenues.

§ Support the creation of product descriptions where required.

§ Conduct Keyword Research reports to be used in SEO & PPC Campaigns.

§ Support the optimization of existing product content, including inputting of attributes, resizing of imagery and inclusion of additional content as required.

§ Support the Sales & Marketing Director, Head of E-Commerce & Purchasing Director with any additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills:

§ Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word & PowerPoint

§ Excellent Written & Communicative English

§ Initiative – Able to prioritise workload and work to multiple competing deadlines

§ Ability to work well independently and prioritise workload

Desirable Skills:

§ Previous experience within the Craft Sector

§ Previous experience working with Magento CMS

§ Merchandising & Copywriting experience
