Goods Despatch Packer/Warehouse Operative

Core working hours: 9.00AM until 5.00PM Monday to Friday (additional hours may be available/required).

We are a small business and everyone is required to be flexible and reliable.

This position is based in our warehouse in Sudbury where we process customer orders.

Full training and supervision will be provided. Clothing is also provided.

Key Duties:

• Assisting in the checking of incoming goods.

• Putting incoming deliveries into stock.

• Picking and packing customer orders.

• Entering customer order details onto the parcel carrier’s computer system.

• General warehouse housekeeping including sweeping and emptying waste bins.

• Stocktaking.

• There is a physical element to this role including carrying/lifting boxes and the use of pallet trucks.

• Making deliveries to local customers.

• As a food wholesaler we are a no smoking site.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.70 per hour
