Animal Welfare Assistant

What you will do:

Our animal care assistants play a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly and up to our high standards - animal care assistants keep our dogs happy and healthy whilst in our care.

You will be working with all different types of dogs. Although you'll get to do lovely jobs like feeding and playing with the animals, you'll also have to do the mucky stuff like cleaning where the dogs live. However, this is only part of the job and there's still other fun parts of the job such as exercising, getting dogs socialised and grooming.

You'll also perform health checks and give medical treatments when needed.

To apply for this role you must have a minimum of level 2 in animal welfare or have 2 years experience working in a similar role.

Salary: £6.56-£10.42 per hour
