Position Overview & Specifications

We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a rapidly growing business based in London. The main responsibilities within this role will include the physical testing of software products to ensure the functionality of the software features. The role will involve developing physical test plans, performing automated and manual tests and also identifying and reporting any potential defects whilst cooperating closely with other teams. In addition, the candidate will oversee the maintenance for the testing of hardware as well as developing and designing automated physical test cases.


Further respectabilities:


  • Ensuring that software products meet quality standards through the development and execution of physical test plans whilst participating in the overall software development process and ensuring that quality is built into the products.
  • Operating and maintenance of AM systems in the laboratory and ensuring a reliable test base for new software features.
  • Performing both manual and automated testing in order to identify defects and verify whether software products meet the requirements.
  • Identifying and reporting any defects and also cooperating with the development team in resolving issues.
  • Designing and developing automated physical test prints.
  • Ensuring products meet the requirements of the industry standards complying with any relevant regulations too.



Requirements



  • Bachelors' or Masters' degree in a relevant discipline such as Science or Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD Packages.
  • Previous professional experiences in Robotics or Software Quality Assurance.
  • An understanding/experience with geometry and computational geometry.
  • Professional additive manufacturing experience.
  • Problem-solving and excellent communication skills as part of a team or independently.
