Overview

2Fawcett are recruiting for a Logistics Associate to join an expanding logistics team within a global manufacturing company located in Kirkby-in-Ashfield on a full time, permanent basis.

As the Logistics Associate you will be responsible for the planning of material deliveries to customers, and material movement to the factories worldwide.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Logistics Associate

• General Logistical Support
• Create Driver Report and Producing Picking Lists Using In House CRM Software
• Liaising with HGV drivers regarding vehicle documentation
• Order Scheduling
• Support Administration to Planners, Warehouse Operatives and Schedulers
• Ensure all Outbound paperwork is accurately recorded onto the MWS system, provided within a timely manner, and filed.

Requirements of the Logistics Associate

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Preferred transport planning background but not essential
• Proficient in Microsoft office and IT Literate
• Team Player
• Logical Mindset
• Some knowledge of all relevant legislation and compliance
