Maintenance Operative/Handyperson

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative/Handyperson to join our team in Willand, Devon. This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest food manufacturer.

• The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
• The rate of pay is: £12.50 per hour

As a Maintenance Operative/ Handyperson, you will join a small team with duties that vary from day to day. These will include:

• Ensuring the grounds around the site are maintained to a high standard
• General building maintenance such as general painting and carpentry
• Collecting parts required by engineers
• Assisting our engineers and electricians as required.

As our ideal candidate you will have:

• Experience of working in a similar Maintenance Operative/DIY/Handyperson role.
• Good communication and team working skills
• The ability to plan and organise your own workload
• You'll be comfortable working unsupervised
• And, as this role is based on a food production site, some knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety would be an advantage
