The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, the role holder will need to be adaptable, proactive and challenge the site teams.

We are looking for a passionate individual who wants a challenge, will work well under pressure and will get into the detail to understand the factory processes and how they impact on the P&L. Someone who is ambitious and looking to develop an accounting career.

As a member of the Site Finance Team, the purpose of the role is to:

· Provide timely, accurate and meaningful finance information to the business (site and centre).

· Support the Management Accountant in understanding and identifying that which drives profitability.

· Help facilitate the development of world class finance reporting & business partnering.

· Be responsible for the production of timely & accurate daily accounts.

· Have a clear understanding of daily performance – Gross Margin, Direct Costs and Overheads.

· Reporting the sites financial performance including relevant KPI's and standard reporting schedules.

· Supporting production of weekly & monthly accounts, reconciliations, interco agreements, cost analysis etc.

· Supporting Management Accountant in identifying and driving continuous improvements around processes and controls.

· Supporting Site E daily and weekly reporting.

· Provide variance analysis, including but not limited to labour, SKU costings etc.

ABOUT YOU:

If you’re fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that’s created our success. Bring those qualities, with the following and you will have the recipe for success:

· Strong Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook, Microsoft etc

· Ideally undergoing or highly motivated to undertake a finance qualification (ACCA/ CIMA etc)

· Experience of working in fast paced environment

· Able to work both in a team and independently
