Position Overview & Specifications

FANTASTIC BUTLER/JUNIOR HOUSE MANAGER ROLE FOR UHNW FAMILY IN CENTRAL LONDON

Location: Holland Park, London

Salary: £50,000 per annum, negotiable

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Status: Live out

We have an amazing opportunity for an organised, self-motivated, and highly reliable Butler/Junior House Manager to support an international ultra-high-net-worth family in their Central London property. This is a fantastic opportunity, supporting a lovely, active family of 6 (4 children) who are in residence roughly 25% of the year.

Ensuring that the home runs smoothly in the family’s absence, as well as supporting them daily when they are in residence with high-end table service and front of house duties, you will be proactive, flexible and approachable, liaising closely with their PA to ensure that all their needs are met. Being the senior point of contact for the existing housekeepers, you will ensure that the highest standards are maintained year-round, and will have a flexible, hands-on approach, willing to assist where required.

The technical and maintenance aspects of the property are managed by an external company, but the family are looking to appoint a switched on candidate with a good eye for detail who they can rely on to flag any potential issues to them in their absence. You will be responsible for food and beverage service, household shopping, placing orders, receiving, and sending parcels, assisting with wardrobe management, and running ad-hoc errands.

The ideal candidate will be a brilliant communicator with a team player mentality who is able to offer flexibility - the family usually visit for 1-2 weeks at a time, so when they are in residence you will be on hand to offer support when required. When they are not in residence, working hours are very flexible. Due to cultural reasons, the family are only considering female candidates for this role.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

· Overseeing the property when the family are not in residence

· Providing outstanding butler and front of house service when the family are in residence

· Working alongside the housekeepers to ensure that the home is always guest-ready and that the highest standards are maintained

· Purchasing groceries and amenities for the household

· Taking receipt of deliveries/parcels; sending parcels

· Working closely with and reporting to the family’s PA to ensure all their needs are met

· Liaising with the wider team (drivers, security, butlers, nannies) when the family are in residence to ensure the smooth running of the family’s day

· Keep accurate records of all household purchases

· Ad hoc duties and errand running as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior experience working for HNW or UHNW clients

· Fluent English – both spoken and written

· Self-motivated, enthusiastic, organised and a proactive self-starter

· A good all-rounder with common sense and an eye for detail

· High-end butler/service and front of house skills

· Approachable, cheerful, and flexible

· Well-presented, intelligent, and articulate

· Highly reliable and trustworthy

· London-based & the right to live and work in the UK

· Female (due to cultural reasons)

· Excellent checkable references
